Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Famonea mobile application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”).
If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Famonea, LLC (“Famonea,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Description of the Service
Famonea is a family and household organization app that provides shared calendars, tasks, grocery lists, meal planning, recipe management, memories, photo uploads, achievements, and related features.
Famonea is available in two tiers:
Free
Premium subscription (monthly or annual).
The service includes cloud-based syncing via third-party providers such as Firebase.
Eligibility
You must:
Be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction.
Have the legal authority to create a family/household group.
Parents or guardians are responsible for the activity of minors who use the App under their supervision.
User Accounts
To use Famonea, you must create an account using your email or supported authentication method.
You agree to:
Provide accurate information
Keep your login credentials secure
Be responsible for all activity under your account
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Subscriptions & Payments
Famonea uses Apple In-App Purchases for all payments. Apple manages billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds according to Apple’s policies.
Subscription details:
Free tier
Plus Plan: Monthly or annual
Max Plan: Monthly or annual
Billing & Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before renewal.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions via your Apple ID settings.
Famonea does not directly process or store credit card information.
User Content
“User Content” includes:
Calendar entries
Tasks, lists, and meal plans
Saved recipes
Photos and media uploaded to Memories
Profile names and images
You retain ownership of your User Content.
You grant Famonea a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the services.
We do not sell User Content.
Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
Use Famonea for unlawful activities
Upload harmful, inappropriate, or copyrighted content without permission
Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or misuse the App
Harass or abuse household members or others
Violation may result in suspension or termination.
Third-Party Services
Famonea integrates with:
Firebase (authentication, storage, analytics)
Sinch (SMS communications)
Mailgun (email delivery)
Their use is governed by their respective privacy policies.
By using Famonea, you agree to their processing of data required for core
functionality.
App Availability & Changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
We are not liable for:
Downtime
Data loss
Service interruptions
We strive to maintain reliability but make no guarantees.
Termination
You may stop using Famonea at any time.
We may terminate or restrict access if:
you violate these Terms
your conduct poses risk or legal liability
required by law
Upon termination, access to some or all features may be removed.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Famonea is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
We do not guarantee:
error-free operation
uninterrupted service
accuracy of data
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Famonea is not liable for:
indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages
loss of data, revenue, or goodwill
unauthorized access to your account
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States.
SMS Communications
FamOnea may send one-time SMS invitations on behalf of users who invite family members to join their private family space. Message frequency: one message per invite. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to opt out of receiving messages.

Mobile opt-in data will not be shared with third parties.
